KYALITE BOAT RAMP

Public BBQ

Kyalite Boat Ramp offers a surprisingly pleasant riverside escape in an otherwise quiet corner of NSW. The concrete ramp itself is functional, though it comes with a notable three-metre drop-off where the concrete ends, something to keep in mind when launching. While extending the ramp by a couple of metres would improve things, it doesn't diminish the appeal of this stretch of river for a refreshing swim on a warm day. The facilities are modest: a few picnic tables sit among slightly overgrown surroundings, giving the place an unhurried, unmanicured charm. It's the sort of spot where one might stop for morning tea, enjoying the peaceful river views without expecting much fanfare. Kyalite itself doesn't offer extensive amenities, but for those seeking a quiet swim or a simple riverside break, the boat ramp provides exactly that,a no-frills access point to a lovely section of water, where the main attraction is simply the river itself.
